Susan has worked in the wine industry for more than 30 years. A lifelong love of cuisine and travel gave her a deep appreciation for winemaking and led her to a life in the world of hospitality and beverages. 

 

After years of managing accounts and portfolios for companies such as Grapevine, Direct Import Wine Co., Chicago Brands, and VinDivino Ltd., Susan became a partner in Expedition Wines, a boutique firm that Susan and her family eventually purchased in 2015 and reimagined as Bodin Street Wines & Spirits later that year.

 

For Susan, owning and running Bodin Street is the culmination of a lifelong dream.  Susan and her team at Bodin Street represent a carefully curated selection of fine family estates from all over the world. Every day, Susan takes pride in being able to showcase Bodin Street's portfolio of great wines to the vibrant restaurant and retail community in the Chicago area. She is passionate about helping her customers use wine to build community, and loves bringing unique wines and spirits to tables across Illinois.
