Our Team

Nadia moved to Chicago from Colombia 23 years ago. As Chicago’s culinary and wine revolutions flourished over the last two decades, Nadia’s interest in these two industries evolved from casual to professional pursuit.

She began her wine education with the WSET Certificate of Wine and Spirits Level 2, which led her in to wine distribution with Bodin Street Wines & Spirits. Currently, she is a WSET Level 3 Wine Certification candidate.

Previously, Nadia was in the banking industry until she became a mother of two children. She also founded Susu Accessories, a fair-trade business that designs, produces and distributes handmade accessories knitted by 350 indigenous women in La Guajira Peninsula, Colombia.

Working with Bodin Street Wines & Spirits, provides her the opportunity to meet and learn directly from the many dedicated winery owners, winemakers, importers, restauranteurs and retailers with whom Bodin Street partners.
