From the winemaker:
This vintage of Pionero gives us cherry red colors with purple edges. It is a brilliant wine with an upper middle layer.
On the nose we find aromas of cherries, plums, dates, toasted walnut. Fresh in the mouth, with moderate acidity and fruity.
Pairing suggestions are grilled octopus, barbecue, rib tacos, and lamb with rosemary.
