It's not every year that Mother Nature creates the perfect season for a lusciously, sweet wine. 2017 saw a stunning example of Botrytis (also known as Noble Rot) in our Riesling vines. 

Unlike the rest of the Huia portfolio, the Huia Botrytis Riesling 2017 sure is sweet but has a lovely acidic finish to ensure the palate is refreshed. Match with soft white cheese, figs and quince paste or puddings like custard fruit tart, dark chocolate or vanilla panacotta with manuka honeycomb. 

(Incidently, she’s also banging with a seriously funky blue cheese! Drink very chilled and rejoice in the nectar of the Gods!
