Like all great stories, the Collovray & Terrier adventure is full of twists and starts. It all started with Joanny Collovray, in 1928, and the first vines he owned around the village of Davayé, a few kilometers west of Mâcon, under the rocks of Solutré and Vergisson. 

Two generations later, the Collovray have met the Terriers and teamed up within the Domaine des Deux Roches which was born in 1986. Fast forward to today, where the fourth generation is working and almost everything goes in pairs at Collovray & Terrier. Two families, two names, two men, Christian and Jean-Luc, two sisters, Brigitte and Florence. But also two rocks, Solutré and Vergisson, two areas, Les Deux Roches and Antugnac, two regions: the Mâconnais and the Haute-Vallée de l'Aude. And finally two merchants: Collovray-Terrier and Closerie des Lys.
