Champagne Barnaut

Edmond Barnaut created the first bottles of Grande Réserve cuvée in 1874.

As the brand expanded, they used natural compounds as much as possible - the exclusive use of organic fertilizers, the spontaneous grassing of plots, the modern underground cellar which consumes very little energy, the photovoltaic cover of cellars allowing electrical self-sufficiency, are all examples that illustrate their eco-citizen approach.

Their estate is certified High Environmental Value

and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne.

The plot, spread over all the localities, offers such a diversity of characters to the wines that it now allows production of eight different cuvées of Champagne and two cuvées of still wines of the Coteau Champenois appellation: the famous Bouzy Rouge and the unique Clos BARNAUT Rosé.
