Finca la Carrodilla
Finca La Carrodilla in the region of the Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California, Mexico, was the dream of the Perez Castro family. They are also the owners of La Lomita. Their winemaker, Gustavo Gonzalez, joined the winery in 2015 with twenty years of experience in making wine in California after receiving a degree in Chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley, then received a Masters Degree in Enology from the University of California at Davis.
Finca La Carrodilla was the first vineyard in the Valle with organic certifcation - reached through their practice of Biodynamic agricultural farming. As their motto states: "We are an orchard, four cows, six sheep, two dozen chickens, hundreds of bees, and forty thousand vine plants."
"We are good people, generous land and wind that runs every day."
